Outward Appearance vs Inward Appearance

Good Morning!

How are you doing? I pray you had a peaceful night.

A couple of days ago I made my first video debut where I exposed my vulnerable side naked without makeup, my hair was messy and most importantly I exposed my heart by sharing with you the anxieties and worries that I faced just because I wanted to do a video. I also mentioned that I was concerned about what the world would think of me? I wondered was I pretty enough, did I fit the worlds standards outwardly while also making sure I was not pursuing my own selfish desires.

I gave some awesome scriptures to confirm that all the negative outlooks I had of myself were all lies from the enemy and that my purpose is not to satisfy my own selfish desires, rather it was God who put the desires in my heart and gave me the power to pursue them!

2 days ago, I had victory because I decided not to care about what the world thinks of me! I am going to do what I am called to do so that I can please God no matter the cost! Yeshua (Jesus) was persecuted and I being a follower of Yeshua (Jesus) must also be ready for whatever attacks this world may have for me.

While reading the bible this morning I came upon this scripture, which solidifies even more that God chooses people based on their hearts and not on their outward appearance! All though God already had answered my prayers about me pursuing my own desires he still continues to bless me with more scriptures which in turn increases my confidence to pursue my dreams which are his desires placed in my heart without hesitation!

I pray that you use them to help pursue the desires that God has put in your life.  No matter how outrageous you may think it is, if you prayed about it and it will bring people closer to God go after it! Stop running away from your destiny!

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” (1 Samuel 16:7 NLT)

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect” (Romans 12:2 NLT)

How awesome is God! He is simply amazing to me! I give him all the glory and pray you can post your own testimonies when he begins to answer your prayers..

These are the scriptures from my video..

“I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?”  Psalms 56:4 NLT)

“For God is working in you giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him” (Philippians 2:13 NLT).

I love you and please remain in the joy of the Lord because that is where our strength comes from. Enjoy your day!
